Normally, the testing noise of a plastic extruder does not exceed 85dB (A). This noise standard is a major indicator of the manufacturing quality of the extruder, which reflects the comprehensive quality and assembly accuracy of the extruder unit components. When the noise level is too high, the first step is to check whether the nuts on each tightening surface are loose, and whether the safety cover of the pulley has scraped the safety cover. These areas are prone to problems during transportation and do not belong to the quality issues of extruder equipment. If these problems are solved and the noise level is still high, it is necessary to search for the following parts.
1、 The causes of screw rotation and friction sound in the barrel
1. The concentricity error between the screw and the barrel assembly is large.
2. The verticality error between the end face of the machine barrel and the flange connecting the machine base and the centerline of the machine barrel is relatively large.
3. The screw is bent and deformed, and the straightness of the axis line is significantly out of tolerance.
4. The assembly clearance between the screw of the extruder and its supporting transmission shaft is too large, and there is a large error in different center degrees during rotation. 4
2、 The reason for the loud rotational sound of the motor in the plastic extruder
1. The larger and lower rotor bearings.
2. The straightness error of the axis of the rotor shaft is relatively large.
3、 The reason for the significant noise generated by the belt drive of the plastic extruder,
1. The assembly clearance between the inner hole of the pulley and the transmission shaft is relatively large
2. The manufacturing accuracy of the pulley is low, and the end face and outer circle have significant runout.
3. The installation position of the two drive pulleys has a large error as the end faces are not on the same plane.
4、 The causes of high gear transmission noise
1. The gear manufacturing accuracy is not high, and the gear tooth torque error is large,
2. The error value of the transmission shaft centerline of the gear is relatively large. When the center distance is small, there is interference noise in the gear transmission teeth.
3. The supporting rolling bearings of the shaft have low accuracy,
4. The parallelism of the centerline of the two transmission shafts exceeds the tolerance, causing the gears to not engage correctly in transmission.
